Brian Kirk? The Nerds?  Are you guys kidding me??...  They're terrible!  Brian Kirk is a bunch of cocky pricks... and that wouldn't bother me so much if they actually sounded good.  The Nerds are too gimmicky, which again wouldn't bother me if they sounded ok but they don't.  Dogvoices is by far the worst though, they make my ears bleed.  The first time I saw these bands I walked out before I even finished my first beer.  As for good bands there's Octane (my personal fav.), The Benjamins, Freak, Twelve10 (even though I'm not that fond of the singer), and Bitter X is ok too.  Amish Outlaws are a fun band as well.

I'm sick of following my dreams, I'm just gonna ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Freak is hands down one of the best heavy cover bands I've seen.  Great guys, great music, good times.

The Amish Outlaws definately... I saw them this weekend at the Colorado Cafe and no one does a better Meatloaf cover.
