I'd like to know...I'm from Union County, and I see here it is considered central jersey.  Now, I used to think it was central jersey, until after everything I had seen from job search websites, and all this other literature classifies Union as North Jersey.  So I always assumed I'm a north jersey girl.  so, What are we?  North, or central?  Someone please set the record straight!!!

I would think that union would be central I would think that union would be central jersey, but its close so I am not sure. It probably depends on your perspective, if u lived in cape may you would think that union was in north jersey

I would tend to clasify Central NJ as Between The Driscoll Bridge and the Union Toll Plaza on the Parkway.

Anything south of the Driscoll is South Jersey, anything north of it is North Jersey.

This whole "Central Jersey" thing was made up by people who didn't want to be associated with trailer parks and mullets.

Lushie I know what you mean. On sites like Monster areas like Union is considered Central and where I live (Monmouth) is considered South. I say I live in Central Jersey on the shore.

Well, I never really gave too much thought about Central Jersey, but me and my buddys refer to South Jersey as "North Texas" due to said Mullet and Trailers Thordic spoke of.

Anywhere above exit 142 on the parkway is north jersey to me.  I look at rt 78 as the cut off.  And ask anyone from "north Jersey" and i think they would laugh if you said union was part of north jersey!
