I haven't watched American Idol ever, and don't plan to start now. I find it stupid to idolize some hick from a trailer in New Mexico.

I haven't watched it, and I never will. I have better things to do than watch a popularity contest. It does amaze me how wrapped up in this shit people get. Am I the only one who still reads books?

just because you read, doesn't mean you can't watch American Idol!  I'm really not too sure why it is addicting, but it is, you end up routing for someone, and yea it mostly ends up being some hick, but whatever, they are good, and the only one who really made it was kelly clarkson.

but really, don't some of these people have friends who tell them how bad they really are?  the faces on their families when they come out, and didn't make it, is priceless.

do these peoples families really think they are THAT good?  i SO don't buy it, yet i still love it.
