Jessica, trust me when I tell you there is not a single place to "party" as you so eloquently put it in Cliffwood, except for Alex Lopez's house when his parents aren't home.

okay, i'll give you a real answer this time.  you need to travel outside of ground zero to find some cool bars.  closest place would be red bank and you have a nice mix of YUPPIE vibe at "Red" or a college bar atmosphere at "The Globe" or an irish pub that's popular where you can be outside too -- Dublin House (no they don't dance jigs there).

Then there's the beach bars, or as the staten island guidos call it, Jer-Z Shore.  If you're a stuck up broad and you like to dance and hook up with guys with money, go to the club at Pier Village in Long Branch.  Hell, i couldn't get in there.  But if you'd rather talk it up and hang out with surfer guys, Bar A in belmar is where you want to go.  it's all outdoors and they have a sandpit with lounge chairs!!!!  my favorite by far.
