hunterdon county bar life is horrible

I just got back from college. I graduated. Im 22. and now im home with my paretns til i can get up on my own feet. but honestly.... the bar life here is horrific. women are old. bartenders are tight asses (if i give you a buck a drink i better be getting buy backs or something, if not i will give you 15% like i give waittresses.) drinks are expensive, places are lame, and the bands are just not good.

i know the bars by rutgers are fun but its still pretty far from me.

i just want to know if people from hunterdon area agree with me. and if you do lets unite and find a place and make it a great time!

More often than not I will go into a bar and know off the bat what I am going to tip, if I think it will get me somewhere I will drop a 20 or so on the counter as a tip for the first beer, then after that I am done tipping.

Its about a 3 out of 4 chance you will get excellent service out of that, or so I have found.
