I dont know about Saturdays in particular but a few of my favorites are The Pour House in Shrewsbury/Red Bank/Tinton Falls (whatever the heck town it is), The Office in Keyport, and Basil T's Brewery in Red Bank. Hoolihans is suppose to be nice but I never been there.

I always enjoy The Bulkhead in Keyport any night or day of the week. Good food, outdoor seating on the water, and usually pretty good music.

McDonagh's Pub, 2 West Front St., Keyport, (732) 264-0999. From its firetruck-red facade to replicas of mood-setting Irish village shop-fronts, McDonagh's looks like it was torn right from that "Pubs and Shops of Ireland." The bar here is smoky and woody, with just-right lighting that illuminates gorgeous taps of Guinness, Harp and a dozen other sturdy Europeans, Americans and microbrews. The menu contains the usual pub grub: ribs, calamari, mozzarella sticks and chicken fingers. But it also has a solid Irish and English theme going, with soups such as Cream of Potato and Bacon and entrees like Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef, and Cabbage, and Fish and Chips.

Winadansea Highlands and a great dinner crowd inside and live entertainment outside for dinnner at the Tiki Bar with full dock and dine.  Then the club start at 10:00 and it gets crazy upstairs and stays mellow out at the tiki bar.

The Sugar Shack Has a band on Saturdays and is really good too.
